How the Multi-Disc Screw Press Works

1. Sludge Feeding

3. Thickening Zone
   The moving and fixed rings begin to remove free water as the sludge moves forward.
4. Dewatering Zone
   The screw shaft compresses the flocculated sludge, squeezing out water through the disc gaps.
5. Discharge
   The dewatered sludge (now in solid cake form) is discharged, while the filtrate (clean water) is sent to further treatment or reuse.
